There are high spots in all of our lives and most of them have come through encouragement from someone else. I don't care how great, how famous or how successful a man or woman may be, each hungers for applause.

We should seize every opportunity to give encouragement. Encouragement is oxygen to the soul. The days are always dark enough. There is no need for us to emphasize the fact by spreading further gloom.

Our focus must always be on building people up.

Correction does much, but encouragement does more. Encouragement after censure is as the sun after a shower.
