Never say about anything, "I have lost it," but only "I have given it back." Is your child dead? It has been given back. Is your wife dead? She has been returned.

Death is a debt we all must pay.

When good men die their goodness does not perish.

He who waits upon God, is ready whenever he calls.-He is a happy man who so lives that death at all times may find him at leisure to die.

But it is the will of God and nature, that these mortal bodies be laid aside, when the soul is to enter into real life ... A man is not completely born until he be dead.

Life is rather a state of embryo,-a preparation for life. A man is not completely born until he has passed through death.

Death is the grand leveler.
