I am a part and parcel of God.

Try first thyself, and after call in God; For to the worker God himself lends aid.

God tempers the wind to the shorn lamb.

A state of mind that sees God in everything is evidence of growth in grace and a thankful heart.

God is not a cosmic bell-boy for whom we can press a button to get things.

Let us walk joyfully over this earth answering to that of God in every man.

Having abandoned God why should we whimper, "Where is God?"

... for God, to me, it seems, is a verb not a noun, proper or improper.

I implicitly believe in the truth of the saying that not a blade of grass moves but by His will. He will save it (my life) if He needs it for further service in this body. None can save it against His will.

But God is never cruel.
